Your Pets, Your Children

We have seen a number of stories this week about people dying and their living family members turned their pets into high kill shelters because either couldn’t keep them or they didn’t want them. Some of these pets are senior dogs that usually don’t have a chance of being adopted and to be honest, rescue’s are really full. Please make a plan for your pets! Talk to your friends and family to find someone willing to take your 4 legged child. If no one will step up, there are lots of rescue’s that you can contact and make arrangements with in advance.  You can then leave instructions in your will telling people who to contact so that you will always know that your fur babies will be safe. They are your children, and they deserve you thinking ahead for them.
